Date: 1998 Period: 1990-current File: PDF 326 KB, 125 pages
Author: The response analysis team

A summary of the 94,303 response to the discussion document on the proposed Code. The discussion document asked for feedback on the 11 areas of the Code: looking after our children, pregnancy care, keeping children healthy, learning for the under 5s, getting children to school ready to learn, young offenders, sharing parenthood, training and learning for employment, work obligations and income support, managing money, keeping ourselves healthy. The response report noted the diversity of responses, but considered that an educative rather than a legislative approach was preferred.
